My creative world: software, tips and tricks, and faithful companions.

Here's an overview of my favourite tools for coding, creating, and organising myself - the ones I always come back to, even when I try to test out new ones.

Development tools

Sublime Text 4

I've been using Sublime for years, and yet I probably only know 1% of its features. The only thing I really know how to do is install a package... but even so, it's still the editor I'm fastest with. Simple, instant, and never a distraction — exactly what I need.

Visual Studio Code

I'm still in total discovery mode. Every week I come across a new feature I didn't know about. It's a bit like opening a drawer and realising there was a secret compartment underneath. I feel like it's quickly going to become my development “Swiss Army knife”.

Design

Canva

For simple, quick tasks, Canva is my go-to tool. I can create something neat in no time, without having to think about a thousand different options. It's my space for quick and effective prototyping.

Photoshop

When I need to take a visual further, Photoshop remains the benchmark. I still juggle between the two tools depending on my needs: Canva for efficiency, Photoshop for precision. An unlikely duo, but one that works surprisingly well for me.

Productivity

Trello

Probably the tool I know best — which doesn't mean I've explored all its possibilities. But even with minimal use, Trello already helps me keep my projects clear. I think of it as my digital whiteboard: simple, visual, and flexible enough to adapt to my organised chaos.

LibreOffice

It's my go-to tool for anything remotely related to administration: documents, spreadsheets, forms... LibreOffice may not be the most glamorous tool out there, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do, without any frills or fuss. When I need to organise my digital paperwork, this is the tool I turn to.
